The Loudoun County School Board is getting an earful from residents about a controversial policy. Hundreds of parents and community members showed up to last night's board meeting and dozens spoke during a public comment period, with the vast majority calling for the reversal a policy that allows transgender students to use the locker rooms and bathrooms of their choice based on gender dysphoria. The public outcry also extended to an LCPS Title Nine sexual harassment investigation into three boys at Stone Bridge High coming forward to say they felt uncomfortable with a male-identifying female classmate using the boys' locker room. Many, including one board member, spoke out in support of the boys before Chair Melinda Mansfield shut down those comments, claiming they somehow violated public comment policy.
