A Henrico County resident is blamed for starting a brush fire. It started Monday in Varina [[va-rye-na]] at a home on New Market Road where someone was burning trash, and it spread to 75 acres. No one was hurt, and no homes were damaged, but the county fire marshal cited the person who allegedly started the fire. The deputy fire marshal says burning trash is illegal, and considering the conditions, it's also careless. He tells CBS 6 fire conditions are heightened due to dry conditions and extreme heat, and he urges the community to exercise extreme caution during this ongoing dry spell.

Willie Nelson will miss another date on his Outlaw Music Festival tour. The 91-year-old country music legend will not perform at the tour's stop in Virginia Beach tonight. It was announced last week that Nelson had been ordered to rest for four days on doctor's orders because he wasn't feeling well. That forced himto miss the first three dates of the tour with Bob Dylan and Robert Plant & Alison Krauss. Wednesday's update said Nelson is expected to return to the tour shortly.
