A Virginia Beach woman is facing charges after a seven-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting last month. Police arrested Sheneka Warren-Boykins on Friday, charging her with child neglect and allowing children access to a firearm. Investigators say her young son pulled the gun from an unlocked dresser on July 31st and then shot his brother. The seven-year-old was shot in the eyebrow and needed stitches to close the wound. Police say the shooting could have been avoided if Warren-Boykins had secured the gun properly.
