A viral TikTok post is causing concern in Hanover County. The sheriff's office announced last night some schools have appeared on a so-called 'hit list.' Potential problems include postmarked ballots arriving too late to be counted and in some cases ballots were returned as undeliverable even though they were properly addressed. In a letter to Postmaster General Louis DeJoy this week, the National Association of Secretaries of State and the National Association of State Election Directors raised concerns that issues with the postal service could disenfranchise voters. With less than two months to go before the election, the letter urged the postal service to fix the problems.
