A federal judge is allowing a lawsuit over the use of Confederate names for two Virginia schools to move forward.Preview: Purple is popular in Hanover County. The school district held a public meeting yesterday at Patrick Henry High School to discuss three plans for redistricting. The plans are named for colors, blue, green and purple. Eighty percent of those at the meeting favored the purple plan. It calls for reassigning parts of Kings Charter from the Cool Spring Elementary School zone to the Pearson's Corner Elementary School zone. One parent tells 12 On Your Side he believes that's the best option for the county. Another meeting will take place tonight at 7:00 at Mechanicsville High School.
