A medical examiner has confirmed the cause of death for a child found dead earlier this week in Virginia Beach. Twelve-year-old Juan Sebastian Mejia Acevedo was found dead in a pond on Monday. Acevedo had been reported missing on Friday and investigators initially believed he'd been abducted. The medical examiner's office confirmed yesterday that Acevedo's cause of death was from accidental drowning.
