The director of the Blue Ridge Poison Center says parents should examine all trick-or-treat candy. Doctor Christopher Holstege [[ HOLE-steg ]] says calls about children ingesting cannabis edibles have gone up over the last few years. He recommends discarding any expired, discolored or open candies, and checking labels to make sure edibles aren't mixed in with the usual Halloween goodies.
