A meeting next week could determine if Richmond's elections boss will keep his job. The city's electoral board will meet Wednesday to discuss an inspector general's report on General Registrar Keith Balmer. The report released Monday determined Balmer misspent hundreds of thousands of dollars. Virginia police are searching for a missing Prince William County man they say may need assistance. Forty-two year-old Cory Duguid was last seen leaving his job in Sterling yesterday morning. Police say he made concerning statements before he went missing. Duguid is described as six-one, 240 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy blue sweater, blue jeans, and black boots.

A local USPS official has tips on how to be sure your Christmas presents arrive on time. Michael Romano is the USPS inspector for the Richmond area. He says you should take your packages inside the post office or hand them to a clerk or carrier whenever possible to ensure it's in the US mail stream. To make sure your packages arrive by Christmas, the USPS advises shipping First Class Mail by December 18th, Priority Mail by the 19th, and Priority Mail Express by the 21st. Romano tells CBS 6 don't send money or gift cards and never leave packages unattended.
