A Virginia Beach man will spend a few months in jail after a failed attempt to bribe a police officer to forget about arresting him. Twenty-year-old Brayden Luckenbill was taken into custody in August after he fired a gun into the air during an argument. On the way to the jail, Luckenbill asked the officer if he would make the charges go away in exchange for 20 dollars. He took a plea deal earlier this month after being charged with abduction, shooting in a public place and attempted bribery. A judge decided Wednesday to give Luckenbill three months in jail while suspending the rest of his three-year sentence.
