A family in Virginia is offering a hefty reward in the search for their missing teen. Virginia State Police issued a CODI alert for 17-year-old Mitchell Leahey last week in Hanover County. His family says he ran away from home after a therapy session by hopping a fence. Mitchell's parents say he left with just the clothes on his back and no belongings or phone. And they're growing concerned as temperatures continue to dip and they still have no information on Mitchell's whereabouts. They're offering a 100-thousand-dollar reward for Mitchell's safe return.

A hot air balloon in Isle of Wight County gave riders quite a scare when it crashed into a power line. The crash happened earlier this week in the area of Braswell Drive and Blue Ridge Trail near Windsor. Police say the five people on board the balloon were not injured. They also say the power lines it hit were not damaged. State Police say the pilot deflated the balloon before hitting power lines due to strong winds. The balloon had mostly landed when it wrapped around the power lines
