Plans to open a gaming business in Henrico County are running into resistance. Henrico Supervisor Dan Schmitt and State Senator Schuyler VanValkenburg held a public meeting yesterday. The subject was plans for Rosie's Gaming Emporium to open in the Staples Mills Shopping Center. The owners are bypassing the board of supervisors and its calls for the owners to attend a public hearing. Schmitt says Rosie's knows it would be hard to get public approval for the project. VanValkenburg tells CBS 6 just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.  
 
 
One of Virginia's bowl-eligible college football teams knows where it will be playing next month. The Liberty Flames will be going to the Bahamas Bowl to take on Buffalo on January 4th. The Flames finished the season with an 8-and-3 overall record and went 5-and-3 in Conference USA. Buffalo was 8-and-4 and finished 6-and-2 in the Mid-America Conference. Liberty has appeared in a post-season bowl for six straight years.  
 
 
There's another push to get the 10 Commandments posted in Oklahoma classrooms. State Representative Jim Olsen tells News 4 it's not about religion.

Last session, a similar bill got as far as the Appropriation and Budget Education Subcommittee, but wasn't debated on the floor. A federal judge blocked a similar law in Louisiana.
