An elderly man has died nearly two weeks after being involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Lynchburg. Eighty-seven-year-old Ronald Houston Harbin died Sunday from injuries received in the crash. Investigators say three vehicles were involved in the crash on January 29th in the 26-hundred block of Wards Road. One of the vehicles hit a utility pole after leaving the road. The crash is still under investigation.
Some are calling one Virginia school district's transportation for disabled students 'educational neglect'.Preview: Kids in hospitals across the country may benefit from the generosity of some Chesterfield County men. Russell Cassava uses a van to deliver Legos to sick kids through his nonprofit called Little Bricks Charity. His van, though, recently broke down, so he posted a video on TikTok asking for help. Precision Tune Auto Care owners Jimmy Barefoot and Zach Samples saw the video and decided to help. Barefoot says he has two kids who love Legos, and Cassava's video hit him pretty hard. Barefoot and Samples fixed Cassava's van for free, and Cassava says he's ready to start delivering Legos again. He tells CBS 6 they stepped up in ways he never would have imagined, and he's blessed to have good friends like them in his life now.
