Prosecutors are expected to toss a second-degree murder charge against LaToya Crabbe during the hearing and instead take their evidence to a grand jury next month in pursuit of a first-degree murder charge. The mother of three has turned down a plea deal and claims she shot and killed Curtis Crabbe inside her home last October in self-defense, but prosecutors believe they have proof the killing was premeditated.
