Investigators are sharing more information about a deadly shooting that happened last week in Spotsylvania County. The county sheriff's office identified 19-year-old Sincere Devon Fitz as the third person killed in last Tuesday's shooting in the Olde Greenwich Circle area. Investigators identified 18-year-old Chase Feaster and 18-year-old Alonzo Goffney as victims last week. A 16-year-old suspect has been released from the hospital and has now been transferred to a juvenile detention center. Four suspects are being held without bond in connection with the shooting.

A University of Virginia scientist has been awarded $5.5 million in breast cancer research funding by the U.S. Department of Defense. The research focuses on using focused sound waves to enhance the body's immune system's ability to fight breast cancer. The grant will take effect in September 2025.
