Strokes in young people are becoming more frequent in Virginia and doctors are trying to make sense of it.Preview: Busch Gardens is giving active duty military members and veterans a chance to get free tickets. The theme park is offering free admission to military members, veterans and up to three guests as part of Military Appreciation Month, which begins May 1st. Additional tickets for up to six additional guests will be available for 50-percent off. The offer requires proof of service, and those eligible must register online by May 11th.
Items that have been on display at DC's National Museum of African American History are being returned to their owners. Reverand Amos Brown says items he loaned to the museum in 2016 were recently returned to him without notice or discussion. Museum officials could be acting in retaliation of President Trump's DEI executive order calling for the removal of "improper, divisive or anti-American ideology" from federally funded institutions. Although, Trump specifically named the African American History Museum in his executive order entitled "Restore Truth and Sanity to American History". In it he says, "The National Museum of African American History and Culture has proclaimed that 'hard work,' 'individualism,' and 'the nuclear family' are aspects of 'White culture.'
