A teenager is accused of killing another teen in Richmond. Richmond Police arrested a 17-year-old boy yesterday for a shooting Wednesday night on the Northside. A 15-year-old girl was shot to death on North First Street in Jackson Ward. Police say the two knew each other, but there's no word on a motive. The boy is charged with murder. The victim has been identified as Dora Hill. Tyonna Lawson says Hill was her best friend, and Hill's death breaks her heart. Lawson is struggling to make sense of the shooting. She tells 8News she thought the suspect loved Hill and cared about her, but people are evil.

Virginia has about 17 members of the military for every ten-thousand residents. Other factors in Virginia's ranking were a high number of scientists, engineers and healthcare professionals, as well as many food and beverage manufacturing facilities. Alabama, Massachusetts, New York and Minnesota rounded out the top five.
