Some Petersburg residents are upset that old school buses are being stored near their homes. The lot in Poplar Lawn has been used for about four years, but planning director Naomi Siodmok says that's not a permitted use for the lot. She also says the owner of the lot has done nothing to address the issue and could face fines. Residents tell CBS 6 there's a lot of unnecessary blight in the city, and the lot kind of tarnishes the neighborhood a bit.  
 
 
A Richmond business claims it's already feeling the effects of tariff hikes. Dean Williams is managing partner at Open Plan Systems. They make office furniture, and Williams says they rely on items from Taiwan and Malaysia whose tariffs have risen to as much as 32 percent. He tells CBS 6 that caused his company to raise prices yesterday by seven percent.
