A 15-year-old boy is facing a murder charge for the death of another teen in Prince William County. Investigators say the two teens from South Carolina were trying to break into an apartment in Woodbridge on June 18th to rob an acquaintance. Someone inside the apartment shot the 17-year-old during the break-in, leading to his death. The 15-year-old ran away, though police say he fired some shots toward the apartment building before he left. Police arrested the unidentified teen yesterday in Fredericksburg, charging him with felony murder, burglary and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Two places are being recognized for their role in Henrico County's history. Historical markers were unveiled Saturday on St. James Road. That's where the St. James School taught Black students from 1910 into the 1950s. Gracie Jeter White went to school there, and the 91-year-old was at Saturday's ceremony. She says she still treasures the memories she has. Another marker highlights St. James Cemetery where over 400 people are buried. White tells CBS 6 sometimes we ignore or forget things, but we have to go back and think about all the good things that have happened before we got here.
