The first presidential debate of 2024 happens tonight in Atlanta.Preview: Boeing is facing sanctions for disclosing details of the investigation into the 737 Max door panel that blew out during a flight in January. The National Transportation Safety Board said today that Boeing on Tuesday shared information that hadn't been cleared, violating an agreement with the regulator. The agency also said that Boeing mischaracterized the investigation as looking for a person responsible for the door panel, when instead it's looking for the probable cause of the accident. The NTSB is working with the Justice Department and said Boeing will no longer have access to investigative information.
We're not even a week into the summer season and temperatures are more than a little toasty. Forecasters at the National Weather Service say we are seeing record-breaking heat because conditions are so dry.Preview: VNN Meteorologist Laura Huckabee says our high temperatures this week have been running 8 to 10 degrees higher than they should be for this time of year. As well, we have yet to see any significant rain.Preview: Huckabee says it's only a temporary fix, but it should offer some brief relief from the heat.
