A former pastor accused of breaking into a Lynchburg woman's home wants a jury trial. Officials say Sergio Guardia faces charges associated with a break-in in November of 2023. The court date for his bench trial was postponed due to this request. The victim, identified as Maria Columna, who had severed relationship ties with Guardia, saw him on her home motion camera entering her residence while she was away. A new trial date has not been set yet.
A judge is ordering a northern Virginia-based pro-Palestinian group to hand over documents demanded by the state.Preview: Arlington County officials plan to request up to $85 million dollars in state grant funding for three traffic projects aimed at improving road safety. The projects include upgrades to the Arlington Boulevard/Washington Boulevard interchange, improvements along Glebe Road, and enhancements to the Interstate 395 and Shirlington Rotary Interchange. If approved, WDBJ reports the projects could take at least five years to complete under the oversight of the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Former President Trump is selling shoes that feature a picture from the moments after the assassination attempt on him. A company owned by Trump put the shoes called the "Fight Fight Fight High-Tops" on sale Wednesday. The side of the shoes have a picture of Trump with his fist raised and blood splattered across his face with the words "Fight Fight Fight" below it. They are limited to five-thousand-pairs and cost about 300-bucks. Some sizes were already sold out as of early Wedneday evening.
