More summer heat is in the forecast today along the East and West Coasts. Officials from Oregon to Arizona are urging residents to stay hydrated and stay indoors this afternoon as temperatures climb up to 110 degrees in some places and even over 120 in the Southwest desert. Death Valley could reach 125 degrees this weekend. Sweltering heat is also possible in parts of the East Coast today, especially in North Carolina and Virginia.

Bike riders will benefit from a new project in Richmond. The city announced on Tuesday it would build a new bike lane on Westover Hills Boulevard, Park Drive and Blanton Ave. It's expected to be done by the fall. At least one bicyclist is excited by the possibilities. He tells 8News it'll give bikers a little more separation from the traffic, and you'll see an increase in bikers.

Willie Nelson is on the road again. Fans were worried about the 91-year-old country legend after he had to skip several dates in his Outlaw Music Tour, including a performance in Virginia, because of an unspecified illness. On Thursday, the fans were happy to see him back on the stage again at the Camden, New Jersey Fourth of July Picnic and sounding in good form. His next stop in the Outlaw Music Tour will be tomorrow night in Bethel, New York.
