The George Mason University men's basketball team isn't commenting after a trip to the Bahamas was canceled at the last minute by the organizer. The team was scheduled to travel and play several exhibition games over the weekend, but found out Tuesday that there were no tickets or reservations. The company responsible for booking the trip apologized in a statement, saying unforeseen circumstances led to the cancellation. The company said it would offer full accountability and transparency in hopes of rebuilding its relationship with the university. The university's athletic department has declined to comment on the cancellation.
A new program surrounding digital devices in schools is spreading.Preview: Austin Dillon has a new NASCAR title, but he may have made some enemies along the way. He won the Cook Out 400 yesterday at Richmond Raceway. Dillon did so, though, with some aggressive driving on the final Overtime lap. He bumped into Joey Logano's car and caused it to spin. Dillon then hit Chesterfield County native Denny Hamlin's car and caused it to hit the wall. Hamlin called Dillon's actions ridiculous. Logano says Dillon won't get far racing like that because you gotta pay your dues back on that stuff. Dillon says he hated to do it, but sometimes you just got to do it. With the win, Dillon clinches a spot in the playoffs.
