Henrico County purchased a plot of land for $1.4 million dollars to build a bus transit station near North Parham Road and West Broad Street. The station will serve as a transfer point, park and ride, and the western end of the expanded Pulse Bus Rapid Transit. The project, approved by the Board of Supervisors, aims to enhance public transportation in the area, with service expected to start in 2028. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports the expansion will include new stops along West Broad Street and improvements to accommodate longer buses. Funding for the project will come from federal, state, and local sources, with GRTC partnering with Henrico County for construction.
