A father and his son are both in the hospital after a shooting in Spotsylvania County. The county sheriff's office says deputies were called to a home in the 37-hundred block of West Glen Dower Drive just before ten o'clock Wednesday night. They found a man with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head lying in the driveway. Deputies then found a man inside the home with a gunshot wound. Investigators say the man found in the driveway shot his father through the door of the home before shooting himself. The suspected shooter was taken to the hospital in critical condition Wednesday night.

The trial of a man suspected of killing two Virginia women has been postponed until next year. Anthony Euguene Robinson was set to go on trial later this month for the death of Tonita Smith of Charlottesville. But that trial was put on hold yesterday in a Rockingham County courtroom. Robinson is also charged with murder in connection with the death of Beth Harmon of Harrisonburg. The judge decided that Robinson should be tried for both murders at the same time and rescheduled the trial for January. Robinson has also been linked to two murders in Fairfax County and one in Washington, D.C. but has not been charged in those cases.
