Some school bus drivers in Richmond believe they're being shortchanged. A union official says drivers aren't being paid fully for taking on after-school routes. Superintendent Jason Kamras says he's working to resolve the issue. He tells 12 On Your Side he wants to make sure everyone gets every penny they're owed.

A judge orders the city of Martinsville to improve the conditions inside the court offices at city hall. The order, served to city officials, requires them to show cause why the dilapidated Martinsville Municipal Building should not be repaired. The deteriorating state of the building, including leaks, mold, and other hazards, has prompted emergency closures and relocation of court proceedings. Circuit Judge Carter Greer requested the chief justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia to appoint a judge to preside over the matter. The code section referenced by Greer mandates that if court facilities are deemed insecure or in disrepair, a judge from a remote circuit will be assigned to assess the situation. The city council must appoint a panel to review and recommend necessary repairs, with costs to be borne by the city.
