Virginia State Police are doing all they can to track down the drivers who struck and killed a cattle farmer. Troopers say 73-year-old Garland Heddings was crossing Route 806 near Catlett with a flashlight in hand after checking his mailbox Friday night when he was hit by a northbound vehicle and then struck again by someone heading south. Neither bothered to stop and Heddings died in the road. Investigators say parts left behind by the first vehicle appear to be from a 2001 to `03 Nissan Frontier. A reward is being offered for tips that lead to an arrest.
