Businesses in Virginia Beach say they're prepping for Spring Break, which is the city's biggest economic drivers. Virginia leaders say visitors spend around seven-million dollars a day during Spring Break. Warmer weather also tends to attract more people to Oceanfront businesses and restaurants. Virginia Beach says food and beverage accounts for around 42-percent of all money brought into the city.
