A Roanoake man who previously ran for city council is facing election fraud charges. Authorities say Jamaal Jackson has been indicted on four felony counts from the 2024 council election. Jackson is being accused of making false statements on an election form. Jackson also serves as Pastor at ReFreshing Church in Roanoke. He's out on bail but is expected back in court.  
 
Multiple legal complaints have been filed against the Alleghany Highlands Public School system following a carbon monoxide leak at Covington Middle School earlier this year. Rebecca Hughes with more.

Virginia ranks second in the nation for high rates of autism, according to a Newsweek article released on the heels of Health Secretary Robert F.
