A mother accused of child abuse after taking her infant from the Children’s Hospital of King’s Daughters is due in apear in a bond hearing Monday. Authorities say police were called to the Hospital about reports of a baby taken out of the hospital by a parent.Soon afterwards, the young child was safely found in Chesapeake and was returned to the hospital. 10 On Your Side reports. 31-year-old Stephanie Campbell is charged with felony child abuse and was booked into the Norfolk jail.

Scammers are targeting owners, looking for their lost pets. Saturday two residents in Richmond say they were contacte by people claiming to have found their missing fury friends. The callers went on to say the pets were injured and they needed payment to have them treated. Roanoke Valley SPCA tells WDBJ that these are fake calls and that they would never ask for payments over the phone.
